2017 Fly Fishing Newsletter

The 2016-2017 winter will remembered for a long time.  We are longing for spring!  There is a lot of snow in the valley and mountains this year.  The country needed this.  The local streams and rivers will be high and raging this spring and the aquatic life will benefit.

We are now booking half and full day fishing trips. We are also booking some extended trips on the famous Missouri River.  We lodge our guests at the Yucca Bend Lodge in Cascade, Montana (www.yuccabend.com).  Most of our trips are on the Flathead, Clark Fork and Blackfoot River.  Dry-fly fishing is our mainstay.  Myself and my guides are all certified instructors so we take a lot of beginners and enjoy introducing people to this wonderful sport.

FLATHEAD RIVER FLOAT TRIPS:  July, August and September are our prime fishing months.  We primarily catch wild Westslope Cutthroat but also get a good number of Rainbow trout also.  If you plan to be in Kalispell, Whitefish or Glacier Park areas please consider us for your fishing experience.
