The main stem of the Flathead River is a combination of 3 river forks, the South Fork, Middle and North Fork. The Flathead basin is some of the most incredible scenery in Montana. The North Fork makes up the western boundary of Glacier National Park and starts in British Columbia.  The Middle Fork originates in the Great Bear Wilderness and eventually forms the southern boundary of Glacier Park. The combined rivers tie in with the South Fork just North of Columbia Falls to form the main Flathead River which ultimately runs into Flathead Lake.  The cold, clear water is ideal habitat for our Montana native:  The westslope cutthroat trout.  We also have a good population of rainbow trout and bull trout.

We catch these feisty trout on the surface nearly year round.  Our summer dry fly action is awesome at times.  Our seasoned guides are best around. Beginners make up the majority of our clientele, however we have expert fly fisherman that come every year for the dry fly action the Flathead delivers.
